June 3, 2026, UNHQ in New York: T’ECH DP is pleased to have supported the proceedings of the first Workshop on AI Transformation and Public Institutions, co-hosted by the Permanent Mission of Moldova, the Permanent Mission of Tajikistan, United Nations Innovation and Training Inst. (UNITAR), and Blockchain Alliance (BAI) on June 3, 2026, at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Approximately 40 participants, including UN ambassadors, diplomats, senior UN officials, and industry leaders convened to address the pressing challenges in artificial intelligence amidst its transformative impact on global development. The Policy Roundtable Segment debated national perspectives in adoption, capacity gaps, opportunities for international cooperation, and role of UN system and training. Particular attention was made to the issues of data integrity concerns and the needs in bridging the digital divide across sectors including food system and healthcare.
The workshop Keynote Lecture and Academic Session featured AI technology presentations by experts, including expert affiliated with the Columbia University, highlighted Multi-AI Agent Systems for transforming organizational structures.
Senior UN officials from the United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (ODET) and United Nations Innovation and Training Inst. (UNITAR) delivered high-level remarks at the Opening Segment of the workshop.
