September 22, 2025, New York: The Global Compact hosted the SDG Innovation Powerhouse at its Park Avenue Global Hub, on the occasion of UNGA80 and concurrently UNGC’s 25th anniversary.
The Powerhouse was to highlight the critical role of business and innovation in achieving the SDGs, to showcase solutions and fostering partnerships, and to accelerate innovation and investment to meet the 2030 SDGs.
Leaders across business, non-profits, the UN, academia, and finance shared both inspiration and practical real-world cases and strategies for scaling impact; they included Ms. Marjolein Albers, CEO of Just Diggit, Mrs. Charlie Bronks, Head of Sustainability from Crown Agents Bank, Prof. Emilina Sarreal from De La Salle University, and Dr. Musimbi Kanyoro, Board Chair of United World Colleges International. Session followed on by hands-on guided workshop to map collaborators, pressure-test ideas, and build tangible action plans for organizations.
T’ECH DP shared the Global Compact commitment to encourage businesses and organizations worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies in supporting the achievement of SDGs.
