T’ECH DP at HLPF 2024

United Nations’ High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) convened between July 8 and July 17, 2024 at the UNHQ in New York. As a supporter of SDGs, particularly in connection with the food system and health themes, T’ECH DP participated and interacted in a number of special and side events organized by FAO, including “Uniting Forces: Integrating Science, Policy, and Society to Achieve Zero Hunger (July 10),” “The catalytic Role of Policy Integration and Inclusive Governance for Food System Transformation and SDG Acceleration (July 12),” and “The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (July 15).”     

In a time of intensifying climate crisis and recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, the events provided critical recommendations for innovative financing tools and for reforms to the food security and nutrition financing architecture.
